The project involved the upgrading of a short section of road crossing a seasonal river and wide floodplain, including the construction and improvement of three existing drainage structures.
The works required careful traffic accommodation, temporary access arrangements, road layerworks, surfacing, barriers, signage, and construction within an environmentally sensitive watercourse. Maintaining access for vehicles and pedestrians during construction was an important part of the project, alongside careful management of the surrounding natural environment.
