The Lower Usuthu Smallholder Irrigation Project II Lot 6(b) Batch 5 was delivered for the Eswatini Water and Agricultural Development Enterprise. The project comprised bush clearing, land preparation, supply and installation of irrigation infrastructure, testing and commissioning for agricultural development areas at Gangakhulu and Sikhutsele Farms.
The scope included first ripping, cross ripping, heavy and light discing, root and stone removal, furrowing and seed bed preparation for banana fields. Icon Construction also delivered irrigation pipeline works from existing nodes to mainlines, submains and raisers to infield irrigation systems, cluster houses with mechanical fittings, filters, valves, fertigation systems and pumps. The project reflects Icon Construction’s ability to deliver practical, production-ready agricultural infrastructure across large working areas.
